The beauty of rugby is that it is a sport for everyone. The sport offers participants of all abilities, ages and sizes equal opportunity to run with the ball, pass it, and play defense.
There is no single dominant position in rugby;
Everyone must work as a team.
TEAM CAMARADERIE
Rugby is a team sport, on and off the pitch. The relationships athletes build are part of what makes the sport so unique. Athletes learn skills to work as a team and build relationships that last even after the practices and games are over.
IMPROVE FITNESS
Running, rucking, mauling, tackling and chasing flags; rugby is a fun and physical sport that gives athletes an opportunity to improve their strength, power, speed and agility.
BUILD CONFIDENCE
Playing rugby can help build self-esteem and confidence as it requires players to work together as a team, and when that team succeeds, it can give players a sense of accomplishment and belonging. Rugby is a physical sport that requires strength and skill, and mastering those skills can help players feel proud of their abilities and accomplishments.
